3 players you should be starting: Number 1, Antonio Brown. Despite being banged up at practice this week, Brown comes in as the clear cut number one receiver for Tampa with Chris Godwin out the remainder of the year, and Mike Evans expected to be limited today with an injury himself. When Brown has been out there this year, hes done a lot of damage, and is one of Bradys favorite targets. He’s fresh, and is ready to help bring home a title for fantasy squads this week.
Next up, Joe Burrow. Coming off the 4th most yards passing in a single game in NFL history, Joe Burrow goes against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the 4th most points to the quarterback position this season. They’ve been better of late, but Burrow and the Bengals can clinch the AFC North Title with a win today, and I see them spreading it around and having a similar gameplan against the Chiefs this week as they did against the Ravens last week. I’d go with the hot hand here.
Last up, Chase Edmonds, running back for the Arizona Cardinals. Watch this one closely, if James Conner doesn’t go on Sunday, expect Edmonds to get a lot of touches. He is going against a tough Dallas defense, but if you’re in a league with a decent amount of teams and slim picking on the waiver wire this week, Edmonds could be a great option to pick up as a running back 2 or flex option this week, again, IF James Conner is a no go. I’m hearing currently that the Cardinals are hoping Conner CAN go, although clearly not at 100%. There would still be some touches for Edmonds, although not as MANY opportunities.
I said last up but if you’re in a league with not many teams and you’ve got a few options at QB, if you have Matthew Stafford, start him. He’s going against my Ravens defense with no secondary, we saw what Joe Burrow was able to do against them last week, and I expect Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp to go off this week as well.
As for our sits, we’re starting off with Kyler Murray, who really hasn’t been himself since his injury that had him sitting out a few weeks. He’s going against a Dallas defense that has been great against opposing quarterbacks this year, and the Cardinals offense has really struggled to get much going since their 10-2 start.
Cordarrelle Patterson has slowed down in the latter half of the season after an electric start, and is going against a solid Bills defense this week. Despite his versatility i see him as a risky start this week, as I don’t expect Atlanta to be able to muster much against the Buffalo defense.
Last up, Lamar Jackson isn’t expected to play anyway, but even if he were to, he’s not gonna be close to 100%, he wouldn’t be able to run very well either. Some people may choose to start Tyler Huntley who is likely to get the start and has played VERY well in his opportunities this season.
