Stealers by /u/LeafMeBee22 (smallbusiness: Questions about starting, owning and growing a small business)

Well I had my first stolen item yesterday. When B walked in I was helping pickers and didn’t see him come in. When he left it looked like he had something under his arm but again I was helping someone else and didn’t think much of it. Tracking him around the store with the cameras after I see him put a $40 item in his coat and leave. He comes in once a week and now I’m contemplating what else he could have taken. Do I ban him? Call the police? I’m not really sure honestly submitted by /u/LeafMeBee22 [link] [comments]

Fuel Management Advice by /u/xThe_Maestro (smallbusiness: Questions about starting, owning and growing a small business)

Hello All, Looking for suggestions. Short Version: Looking for a fuel management system I can add to our existing above ground fuel tanks. Long Version: Our business has grown to include 5 different lots that we rent and added above ground tanks to. With the rate we’re growing, and the cost of fuel going up, I’m getting concerned about slippage (theft, abuse, drivers putting unleaded in a diesel truck by mistake (expensive to fix), drivers putting dyed fuel in on-road equipment (illegal), etc) so I’d like to get a little more control/transparency on who is using fuel and […]

Is a Tea Bar profitable? by /u/SgtSasquooch (smallbusiness: Questions about starting, owning and growing a small business)

I just realized my city doesn’t have a tea bar or tea house. They all closed due to the pandemic. All we have are bubble tea shops so I want to fill the gap with a herbal tea shop and lounge space. Picture couches, floor cushions and potted plants everywhere. I would sell pastries and quiche type items. Open it up to local makers for retail space and entertainers too. Maybe room for growth towards herbal infused cocktails in the evening. Does anyone run a business like this? Is it costly to operate? submitted by /u/SgtSasquooch [link] [comments]
