Did this historic sale of two excellent condition ticket stubs from the Fords Theater, dated from the night then President Lincoln was assassinated, outperform an S&P 500 index fund over the same time period? These highly historic theater stubs from the night President Lincoln was assassinated sold back on October 9, 2002 at Christie’s Auction for $83,650 and then sold again almost 21 years later in September 2023 at RR Auction for $262,500.
