They take their 4th of July seriously on Coronado. The island is pretty much shut down for a parade and the town lines Orange Avenue and celebrates.
This year they took it seriously on the 3rd so as the churches on the island could still hold their Sunday mass.
I did not know the church still had that much power.
I had a fun afternoon as my friends Micah and Jim drove down from LA for the day to golf with Max and I at San Diego Country Club. At the turn I was up 3 strokes on Max and in a very rare event, held on to beat Max by two with a 75.
This morning I am really stiff. Note to self…no 45 minute Peloton rides before your next round.
