Is it time to invest in zinc stocks again? Brandon Macdonald, CEO of Fireweed Metals, told me that he is very bullish on zinc and zinc stocks as the industrial demand coming from china grows.
Brandon previously joined me for a talk about the shenigans in junior mining. Here’s that video:https: //resourcetalks.com/podcast/junior-mining-trickeries-deceptions-with-brandon-macdonald/
Brandon told me why it’s important to have base metal, and zinc in particularly in your portfolio and he helped me figure out which zinc stocks are worth looking into.
He also gave me a basic overview of the zinc investment thesis and we discussed the risk-reward of investing in zinc.
Brandon’s personal portfolio is heavily weighted towards zinc, and mostly in his own company.
There are multiple bear theses for zinc, which will affect all base metals and most of those bear theses start in China.
